Pl. Help !!-any one with 221 g knowledge!!!!!!

My parents got 221 g rejection today for B2 tourist visa.

Can someone pl. share the interview details.

1A. Is everyone,who is refused u/s 221g, given a time period within which to expect response from embassy.

1B. What are the chances of getting visa after 221 g refusal?

1. Did the visa officer give a timeline for administrative processing within which they will be contacting when they gave you 221 g letter?

2. did you finally get visa?

3. within how much time?

4. was that more or less within period/timeline given by visa officer.

If anyone has any knowledge on this issue,pl. post ur comments.
This is really important.

as far as i know 221g is not the refusal they will call in a months time but it usually takes a little longer may be 3-4 months.i m also going thru the same process and situatiion like u. i dont know the chances of getting visa after that.

Were you told by visa officer how much time it will take when he gave you 221 g letter?

Becuase my dad was told that it will take 2-3 weeks.

So I want to know whether they say this to everyone whom they gve 221 g letter irrespective of the time that processing actually takes or is there a better chance in our case.

I would really appreciate your answer.

i have not been told abt the time it will take by the counselar but i asked the indian at the office who took my fingerprints he told me that it will tak atleast a month time
