Visa Renewal

I have a 2 year mulitple entry B1 Visa that is due to expire in 2012.
I intend to go for another conference next year but i want to apply for B1/B2, What are my chances. (I had visited the US twice since i was issued my first B1 visa and the max time i stayed was just 10days even though they gave me 3 months on my first visit and 6months on the second visit.)

The visa was annotated for my first conference which was last year but I used it again for another conference this year without stress at POE, I hope that is not a violation?

What are my chances of getting another visa but this time B1/B2 and what do i need to do in order to be successful.? I know i have had it before but i don't what to take chances.

I guess you will get the visa without any issue if you show all the proof including the invitation letter for the conference. Since you didnt misuse the old visa chance of getting it again will be high. You can travel multiple times using the same visa for different conference if you can satisfy the POE until the visa expiry so its not a violation.
