One Year Visitor Visa

Hello,
My mother got 1yr multiple visa to US.
She got approval for 6 month stay at POE.

My question is can she get approved for another 6 month stay at the POE the second time she comes.
Say she tries to come again in the 11th month of her 1yr visa and asks for 6 month stay at POE? Will she likely be given only 1 month of stay or 6 months as requested.

she may get 6 months, or whatever duration immigration officer thinks is appropriate or she may be sent back altogether if he determines that she is just trying to stay in US somehow and she is not actually tourist.

In other words, her duration on I-94 does not depend upon the duration of visa stamp which is used just to enter US.
