Hi,
I am appying passport for my Mom and Dad. My Dad is a government teacher who will be retiring in March 2012. My brother is planning them to take them to US (visitor visa) by March end or April first week i.e once he is retired.
For appying passport for government employees we need only Identity Certificate which we would get from the school. But it has been told that NOC would be required while travelling abroad. ( Getting NOC for Governement employee is a tedious process which would take a long time )
I would like to know whether my father would require an NOC to apply passport or VISA since he would be travelling to US only after retirement but i suppose the Visa interview would be during Feb or Mar 2012 ie. during his service.
