Visitor for my Relatives

Hi - my relatives(my wife's sister's in laws) are planning to visit USA and i am planning to sponser them. Could you tell me what are changes to get visa for this distant relatives.

Actually, your sponsoring such distant relatives may bring down their chances.
if they are affluent, they can apply without any sponsorship.
