EAD or pending H1B extension. which status to use to sponsor B1/B2?

Hi,


I am currently on H1B which is going to expire in 02-March-2012
and have applied for H1B extension on 28-Dec-2011. I have just
received my EAD yesterday. Since I don’t know when I will get
my H1B extension approval notice, Can I use my EAD card to
sponsor a visitor visa?

EAD is not a status. You have to say pending I-485.
