Can Delhi guy get appointment in Calcutta consulate

Hi,
Can a person living in the Delhi consulate region (like, Haryana or Punjab) can book for an interview date in the Calcutta cnsulate in case, some earlier dates are available in Calcutta. Is there any restriction for this.

Pls let me know at the earliest. This is regarding B2 Visa (for pleasure) - NonImmigrant.

You have to take appointment from wherever you live: Delhi.
