Visitor Visa denied to Parents - Urgent Advice reqd

Hi,

My parents applied for Visitor Visa for tourism & to visit my wife & myself, VO didnt see any documents, etc and was Rejected with a white letter saying they would stay in US. They had all the documents for sponsorship reqd but nothing was checked. Below questions were asked

VO: Where do you work?
Father: XYZ Bank in India
VO: Why are you going?
Parents: To visit my son & his wife and for tourism
VO: Where does you son work?
Parents: XYZ Investment Bank
VO: How long has he been in US?
Parents: 15 months
VO: Do you have any other kids?
Parents: No, just son.
VO: Your visa is not approved and gave the white letter on asking the reason were informed that they were going to reside in US

Please advise what to do as i really wanted them to meet me & had planned holiday both for my wfe, myself & parents. Also when should i apply for the visa again ? and do i need to make changes?

My father works and also have our old grandmother who stays with us in India and were visiting us for 45 days(approved leave letter from Fathers Office but nothing was checked)

They rarely look at any documents. They are looking for family ties in India that will bring the person back. Since you are the only son, they assumed that your dad would like to live with his only son. I do not know about your mother.

You can't change this in your second application either.
Only thing is your dad can
stress the fact that he has his old mother to take care of and a job to come back to.

It is all hit and trial.

How soon should they apply for a visa again as I am on L1 and visa is upto end of 2013?
