DS 160 Form Question

My brother in law and his family is planning to appear for a visa interview on 19th April. He filled DS 160 form in October 2011. The date of travel was put at that time as December 2011. However they never made an appointment and so couldn't travel. They have decided to travel in the month of May.

My question is

1. Do they need to change the intended date of travel as May 2012 on DS 160?

2. Do they need to physically print the DS 160 form? They printed the confirmation page.

Also, they have gotten a travel iternary made by someone. Will it affect the interview? Should they show it or not at the interview?

- I dont think it is required, since visa will be valid from the granted date, they can travel anytime once they get visa.

2. Do they need to physically print the DS 160 form? They printed the confirmation page.
- Not required consulate can see form online but better have one printed copy. Also they need to print the barcode receipt.

Also, they have gotten a travel iternary made by someone. Will it affect the interview?
- I dont think its an issue.
