Hi All,
I had sponsored my parents for B2 visa and they went for interview with all the required documents. I am working as a consultant at a client which is a big financial firm, and my employer is a small company.
Interview went something like this:
(Location : Mumbai consulate)
VO : show me your daughter's I-797
(my father handed over the I-797)
VO : this is a fraud company, your daughter will have to come back
VO didn't look at any other documents like my paystubs, who is my client etc. And didn't give my father any chance to talk about my current project/client or anything. She issued them 214b.
Its been a month now, and I am wondering how we should represent our case in next attempt. If someone can please advise and comment on below queries:
- I talked to my employer and he said VO was bluffing, she may not know the company name on top of her head, considering my employer company doesn't have any fraud or any illegal history. He suggested me to seek a senate/congressman letter. Would this letter help?
- Now we are thinking if my husband should sponsor them? (he is a full-time employee)
