Visa rejected, when asked on medical grounds

I need advice. My brother in laws kidneys are totally damaged and his mother is ready to donate her kidney to him. They went for visa on 6th of June . They had all the required documents, a letter from US Nephrologist stating that his condition requires a surgery and his parents are most eligible persons to donate him the kidney. Also they provide all other documents.

The visa officer rejected the visa with case 214 b.

Atleast on humanitarian grounds they didnt consider.
They got this appointment in emergency quota.
My question is it possible to take emergency appointment the second time and what more documents need to be considered apart from the ones mentioned in immihelp visitor visa category.

This is certainly bad that visa was rejected even with a genuine medical urgency. I hope all other papers are in proper order as mentioned on this site. Also I do not know what was written on the doctor's letter. Has it already been 'medically' determined that his mother is the most suitable donor? Maybe a more detailed explanation of the condition of your b-i-l along with detailed specifics of medical approval of his mother as a donor could be of help here.

Also I would imagine you could get another emergency appt due to this problem.

If nothing works out regarding visa, I would suggest that your brother in law go to India and get kidney transplant done.

There are several extremely good kidney transplant facilities in India, including one in Ahmedabad.
