Need informtion to file B2 VISA for retired parents

I am planing to sponsor Visitor VIsa (B2) for my parents and my younger sister. My father is retired and my mom is housewife. I have heard that if the person is retired then chances of rejection are higher. Isthis true?

Is there any way I can make my case stronger? My younger sister is studying post graduation there.Any pointers will be appreciated.

Yes. Because,they are mainly looking for job/income/family ties to make sure the applicant will return.
If retired, there are no job and strong income ties and if your sis is also applying,
no family ties.
