I sent all the required documents. I renewed my passport so did not send a copy of old passport. Other than that sent all the documents. I included my green card copy also.
Visa officer refused by parents visa 214b. Did not even look at all the documents including the ties to india.
Asked my father on what status I entered US. He said he did not know. Obviously he would not know/remember those details. I entered legally and also provided all the documents from my company. If they were need more doumentation on that, all they had to do is request rather than give 214b as refusal.
Is this common to reject their application and refusal reason as 214b without even looking at my parents documents and ties to India.
I am very disappointed with the system since my parents had no intention other than visit me. [I know most would say welcome to the club.] If visa processing is random and luck based is it worth to retry another time. I do not understand how can a process be this random. I think people would have better luck with lottery than visa system.
Please let me know if someone else had similar experiences.
Thanks.
