Hi,
My mother went for B2 visa interview alone (as Father did not received his passport at that time) on 13 April 2012, but she didn't get Visa.
Question were asked:
VO:What your son does?
Mom: Answered properly
VO:What your husband do?
Mom:Businessman (Canteen)
VO: you have one son and one daughter in India
Mom: Yes
and Visa rejected
( I think there was some misunderstanding at the time of interview)
I want to try again Visa for my parents. I need some suggestion or your experience if some one had the same case. Thanks in advance.
As a tie in India my unmarried younger brother and unmarried younger sister are in India, and my grand-father (nana ji, aged 80 years) are also living with my parents, Father has some land but not much value and mother has some little savings, I am sponsoring their trip. I am in US on H1 and my wife is on H4.
1) Will sending mother and father for interview can be considered as case change with in 2 month of time? or sending mother alone again is good idea?
2) Can I show my father as RETIRED (as he has no income now) this time while in last interview mother answered about my father as businessman?
3) Do I need to send original copy of I-134 and other documents like invitation letter etc or e-mail of scanned copy will work ? ( mother has all the original documents but 2 months old which I sent her for interview in April)
4) Do I need to issue another bank letter for their interviews?
5) What reason should be filled in DS-160 for rejection of Visa. (my mother got letter 214-b), but did not hear any reason from VO.
Please suggest.
Thanks,
