  • Transit VISA

    Hi,

I have a Valid Canadian VISA (along with work permit). I have recently obtained US Visitor VISA (B1/B2).

Can I fly to India (Country of Citizenship) from Canada through US. That means a stop-over in a US city by using B1/B2 VISA and also return back from India with a stop-over in US.

    Thanks
    Govardhan

Your plans indicates entering US twice. If your visa is for multiple entries, then you can do it both ways. In case of single entry, you can do it only one way. BTW, are you planning a long stopover in US, or is it just a transit through US.

M is for multiple entries. So I guess you are good to go for both ways. Only point you should consider is the length of your stopover and that you should be having onward ticket when entering US, and be able to justify whatever length of stopover you're planning in case it's not just a pure transit.
