I'm looking for info here, hopefully someone who can help
I'm a British Citizen living in Canada waiting to be a pernament resident. I have family in the U.S. (Nj and IL) and I have crossed the U.S.-Canadian border about 3 times so far.
On the second visit I was given a Visa Waiver but only just. I was told by the border patrol guard that in order to cross the border again and obtain another visa waiver I have to leave the continent of North America (I.E. return back to the UK) and my return to Canada does not count or wait until I become a pernament resident of Canada.
Is this true?
Is there another way of returning to the states without leaving?
What about US-Visit?
Can anyone help?
