Hi guys,
I came to Canada and graduated from a business diploma and recieved my PGWP for three years recently I have a restaurant position and I wish to apply for a US visit visa from Canada(not in toronto)...I wish to work in the restaurant for an year first so I can apply for PNP nomination under SINP and also want to prove good ties to Canada so I can get a US visit visa.
I really want to visit new york city because it has been a dream city for me...I want to know that if I work for one year in a restaurant position despite being a business graduate, is there a high chance that my visa will be refused? I am 22 year old and single... I know that low skilled professionals in India are often if not always refused for a US visa but will this be the case in Canada as well, specially if I am making a descent income from that position?? And would me being a business graduate be a problem for me to get a US visa because I am now working as a food counter attendant.?
I am scared that the VO will think that because I am working in a restaurant despite studying business, I am a high risk applicant..Can somebody tell me if I should apply or not, or should I wait until I become a PR of Canada.
