Question Regarding B2 Visa

My dad had 10 years back immigrated to Canada, but returned after 6 months back to India on health grounds. Now i want to sponsor my parents B2 Visa, will this cause any problem for getting the Visa approved?

Typo, its not immigrated, its emigrated to Canada
