  • Help with Tourist Visa

Hey, Im New, So im sorry if this topic is in the wrong post area! O_O
Well to start, IM coming from Ireland, and going to North Carolina! IM applying for a Tourist Visa and i think thats all i need.

But uhm I need some Help with Visas and such, Im traveling to the U.S.A Soon and i know i need a passport which is being processed atm & a Tourist Visa is the best option to go with which lets me stay up to 90days, But when im there, Can i reapply for my Visa and like.. Get another? which will do me for another 90days? Instead of coming back home? I called the U.s Embassy Here in Ireland and they told me that a Tourist visa of £14.00 Will do me for up to 90days Butwhet if i want to stay longer than that when im there? I was hoping i could Apply for another before it runs out in the U.s.

Also, When i get to the Airport (IM Travleing to Charlotte,NC to see my Girlfriend) Will they stop me and ask to see my Visa? How Much money do i Have? (do i need like a certain amount before they'll let me in the country?) or what questions do they ask you?? I know they arent hard on Irish people and are mostly hard on Afganastan people? lol Im not sure..

    Thnx!!

If you are going without a visa( visa waiver program) , you can only stay 90 days. You cannot extend it.
If you wish to stay more than 90 days, you must apply for a visitor visa , then they can let you stay 6 months in one go.

At entry, they only ask you the purpose of visit and duration. You must have an address where you are going.
