L1 rejected once applying for b2 for a 15 day family visit

My brother 's visa was once rejected for L1 before for the reason of less experience of work.

Now he is trying for B2 just to visit the family in US for a short 2 week visit.


Is this a potential problem?. both me and my husband work here and my parents have b2 for 10 years.

His B2 application will be treated impartial of his earlier L1 refusal (though he has to declare it appropriately if applicable in the DS-160). His B2 approval will depend upon his current situation.

Traveling all the way to US for just a two week period sounds odd. Is he married? whats his current income? Qualifications? Who is sponsoring his trip?

Ds-160 is the online Visa Application and interview slot booking form. Everyone who is applying for non immigrant visa has to fill it online.
