  • Applying for B2, got a question regarding DS-160?

    Hi Fellow forum members,

I am applying for a B2 visa, there is a question in DS-160 which led to some confusion in my case.

Question: Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services?

I applied for H1B in 2007 and got I-129 that time, but my H1B got queried with 221g.

Should i mention yes to the above question? Just to confirm.

Your fast reply is much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Mr.Maddineni

You should answer Yes and provide the name of the employer who did so. Irrespective whether it was approved or not. This is my opinion not legal advice.
