  • Need Urgent Help regarding Visitor Visa

    Hi,

I am sponsering Visitor visa to my parents. On my passport my father name is spelled correctly. However, my mother name is spelled wrongly.

Mother name on my passport : VENKATA MAHALAKSHMAMMA

Mother name on my Mother's passport : VENKATA MAHALAKSHMI

I know that I need to send the copies of my passport to them while attending the visa interview.

What I wanted to know is will there be any problem in interview for mother name's spelling mismatch ?? Should both the names be stated exactly same ??

Please let me know. It is very urgent.

    Thanks
    Srinivas

      Hi,

Thank you very much for your help.

I have one more question. Do we have to show the same affidavit at port of entry also ?

      Thanks
      Srinivas

        No.

But once you make the affidavit, you can carry it anywhere.

Sorry to bother you for one more question.
Do they ask my passport copies at port of entry? And do they look for this mismatch ?

          Thanks
