Parents travel to USA via Germany or London

Hello,
Apologize in advance for posting here but this is the most active forum with great moderators so appreciate help.

My parents (father needs wheel chair, both can't speak English) will be traveling from Mumbai to Wilmington North Carolina and I have a choice between two routes -

Mumbai-Munich-USA

OR Mumbai-London-USA

My concerns are-

1) In German airports sometimes the officers unnecessarily harass Indians. Also I never traveled via Munich till date so hesitate to recommend that to parents.

2) London is usually really sensitive to any untoward security instances and will be quick to stop/cancel flights. I never traveled via London so again hesitate to recommend that to parents.

I would appreciate any opinion of which of the two choices would be better. Any recent experiences?

You can't make any decisions based on such comments. Any such thing can happen to any of those airports. Therefore, go for whatever is convenient to you.
