Applying for Schengen visa from a third country

Hi.

Looking to apply for a schengen visa (Spain) but I will be in Jordan when I need to apply. I'm an Australian citizen and I'm wondering if this is possible or if anyone has come across a similar problem?

Do you work in Jordan? If your home country is Jordan then you can apply but if you are visiting Jordan better to apply from Australia. You can take a chance.
