B1/B2 Visa Approved but status says still in Administrative Processing

Hi,

Can some one please answer the below issue i am very tensed.

My Mom and Dad both appeard for a B1/B/2 in Hyderabad on 5th of september 2013 at 8:30AM, they were asked general questions and at the end the visa officer said good luck and enjoy your trip and as usual he took both passports.

On 10th september 2013 my Mom go an email saying that you passport is ready for pickup and she got 10 years of Visa with multiple entries, but when i checked my dad's status on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in the status says Administrative process and on the same day i.e 10th september 2013 it moved to ready. Today afternoon i.e 12th september 2013 again it moved to Administrative Process and my dad was not given any sort of slip or any think like requesting a documents.

Can some one please help me in understanding the situation if some one went through with this kind of situtation.

My mother got her visa but my father's was put into Administrative processing.. After 5 months we received my father passport without any visa or letter.

Regarding B1 and B2 status

Hi

If you feel the status is not correct, you can visit the consulate office where your parents were attended the interview to know the status and they'll let you know the reason for the delay. There might be some administration delay because they gave you positive response when u attended the interview.
