visitor visa extension - parents..1 more q

If I apply for the extension of visitor's visa for my parents, and if my parents leave before the accept/denial (i.e. as scheduled).
In this case if there is rejection would it still nullify the 10 yr multiple entry?
or would it not since the applicants have left within their original I-94 time period.

Please let me know at the earliest

If they leave before the decision is made, it would not affect their visa because they would have never have unauthorized stay in the US.
