I want to extend my visitor visa by travelling.

Hello;

I am japanesse citizen. I have been staying in US in California on visitor status with my fiancé. He is an internatinal student at CSUN, persuing Master's degree in Engineering. We don't want to live apart . I came in US (09/28/2006), then I traveled out of US to the Bahamas (date 11/20/2006 to 11/24/2006). My I-94 expires on 02/24/2007.

I want to extend my visitor visa by travelling. Is it ok for me to go to
Mexico and come back to get new I-94?

You can try. But if you keep staying in US 3 months at a time, go out for
few days and come back again, you may be refused entry.
