Visa extension question, airline tickets?

I am applying for an extension. on the 539 form It does not say that it is required to show airline tickets. Do I have to send an airline ticket? If I am granted to the extension does that mean I will lose the money spent not the tickets for my original departure?

Obviously, it does not mention everything that you need to send.

However, you are required to prove that you don't intend to stay in the forever and intend to leave. Confirmed airline tickets help proving that.
You don't have to send original tickets. Just the copies.

Whether you loose money on earlier tickets or not depends upon your airline and the kind of ticket you purchased. You have to ask the airline or the travel agent.
