Visitor Visa extension

Hi,

My friend's mom visitor visa extension was denied for the foll reason
"The Applicant has not established that she has no intention of abandoning her foreign residency. "

What does this mean? What documents are required for the above?

The extension was denied. She must leave immediately. Applying for an extension without an exceptional circumstance is a bad idea. The person deciding on the extension obviously felt that she was attempting to live in the US.
