Extention filed. Can she stay even after i-94 expires?

Hi All,

My mother's i-94 expires on feb 6th. I filed for her extension on 1st of January. Can she stay in US till any decision on extension communicated? If visa is rejected, is it considered as overstay? I have to take decision quickly. Can some one share their experiences? People

As long as the extension was filed before the current I-94 expiration date, she can stay up to the day the decision is made or 240 days, whichever comes first.

If she is approved, good.

If she is denied, and if that date is past the original I-94 date, any stay after the denial date is considered overstay and multiple entry visa is void.
Need to leave immediately.
