Turning 70 during policy coverage and Policy renewal.

Hi,
During the policy start period, my dad will be 69 years old, but will turn 70 during policy coverage. I am choosing between Atlas America and Patriot America plus. My question is with regards to how Atlas America and Patriot America plus treats the following event:
If my father wants to extend his trip, and if I were to renew his policy, then would I get the same benefit and Price as I received with the original policy? Or would I have do buy altogether a new policy given that he has turned 70.

Age Change during policy period

Both plans will keep the same benefits. So turning 70 during the policy period will not effect the benefits. If you renew the plan after the age change then with the Atlas America plan the cost of the plan will be based on the current age of 70 so will be a little higher.
