Renewal question for protection america

I am planning to buy protection america for a trip to the US, but I am not sure how long the trip is going to be. If I buy insurance for a month and then decide to renew it the next month can I change the amount of coverage eg go from 50,000 to 100,000 coverage,or go from a higher to lower coverage?

You can not change the coverage while renewing the insurance. In order to make any changes in coverage after the effective date, you will have to purchase a new insurance. And when you do that, everything starts all over again such as the deductible, co-insurance, pre-existing conditions etc. Therefore, it is better to purchase the desired policy maximum from the beginning itself and stick with it.
