  • Want Medical Insurance for visitor to USA

    Hello,

This is Venkatesh and my mom is visiting the USA this month. I am living in California, when tried to get an Insurance provider through your site, it is/was less clear for me to decide on going for a particular medical insurance vendor (eg:Seven Corners, Patriot America etc.,).

    My requirement (General health):
1> My Mom does not have any pre-existing ailments, want to go for $100,000/- for 6 months
2> The insurance should have coverage in the entire USA and any avialable doctors can be contacted
3> Co-pay should be very less and the deductible should also be (like $10 )
4> Should cover X-ray, MRI scans, Physiotherapy, etc.,
5> Should not be like pay first and then claim. I want to have insurance similar to mine from company where in directly the insurance company gets billed
and I would end up paying only the deductible.

    My requirement (Dental health)
1> General teeth cleaning and similar treatment coverage ( no Root Canal Treatment etc., )

    Kindly reply to me with
    1> Insurance provider information
2> Premium to pay for 6 months
    3> Misc. information.

Eagerly waiting to hear back from you.

If this works out well for me, then lot of my friends would certainly go for this.

    Regds,

Thank you for your interest in purchasing health insurance for your mother.

We have the largest portfolio of insurance products available in the market. Please note that no visitors insurance plan works EXACTLY similar to the insurance plan that you get from your employer. However, it can work very similar to the domestic short term health insurance plan you would have to purchase if you were between jobs (Such as Blue Cross California Short Term, Assurant Short Term etc.)

There is no concept of co-pay in short term plans. Insurance company must determine whether it is a pre-existing condition or not before paying the claims.

There are 2 types of plans: Fixed and Comprehensive. Details at https://www.insubuy.com/visitors-insurance/
From what you are describing, you need to go with comprehensive.

Regarding the health insurance claim procedures, please read https://www.insubuy.com/img-first-health-ppo-network/, https://www.insubuy.com/companies/ppo-network/ etc.

You can buy any of the comprehensive coverage plans that we offer at https://www.insubuy.com/ You can also get the instant quotes, get all details like brochure, compare them side by side and make instant purchase online.

Regarding dental, look at CAREINGTON at https://www.insubuy.com/individual-family-dental-plans/ It costs $12/month and there is one time application fee of $20.

Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have any further questions.

I had another question about the policy. My parents are arriving in Colorado, but will soon be relocating to California. How do I choose the policy?

Insurance is valid everywhere in the US. Therefore, you need not worry.
When you go to the initial screen (homepage) of our web site https://www.insubuy.com, it asks for state. That is meant only for US citizens traveling abroad. Ignore the state for visitors.
