  • Travel/Medical Insurance ?

    Hi All,
Is it necessary for my inlaws and folks to get a travel/medical insurance before/after going to the US consulate ? if yes, where and when should I get this done ? thanks.

    Not necessary

It's not a mandatory requirement. It's though recommended that you do get the medical insurance either from there or after you land in the US.

However, the immigration officials in your country or US won't ask for it.

    Good luck.

Even though it is not mandatory, it is highly recommended to purchase visitors medical insurance because of high medical costs in US.

It is definitely better to purchase insurance from US based company. Look at https://www.insubuy.com/visitor-medi...ance-overview/ to understand more.

There are two types of insurance plans: Fixed and Comprehensive
      Look at https://www.insubuy.com/visitors-insurance/ for details.

You can also look at FAQ at https://www.insubuy.com/guide/ for further details.
