H1-H4 Visa Stamping Tracker

Today I received a communication to submit our passports at the Bangalore VFS center.

I had drop box confirmation and submitted my passport on Chennai, Tynampet drop box location. After three days I collected my passport back without stamping asking for Consulate Interview but without schedule. I walked into the Chennai consulate with the documents and notice I got. My consulate Interview happened on Friday 03.20.2015. If I try to track my passport with the passport number it is getting the message "Your passport has been picked." and it is the status before consulate Interview. How can I track the status.

On Nov 17th attended the interview in chennai consulate. VO asked me about my US company. I told him about the same. Then he asked me to provide client letter and SOW which I provided the same. After verifying it for some time he handed over me blue slip just checking one check box saying administrative processing. They have not taken my i97 or petition document or passport from me. They don't have any document for my case. It's been more than 14 weeks since this happened.

Hi, I am currently in US on a H1-B visa. I am applying for a H4 visa for my spouse and my daughter. And I have the marriage certificate issues by the Church authorities along with the church pastor's licence. My office authorities are asking for a marriage certificate from the registrar office. Can you please clarify if church marriage certificate is accepted at the consulate. may be if we accompany this certificate along with some other supporting documents thanks Latha

I went to US Consulate,Toronto,Canada form my H1-B extension stamping. VO handed over me pink slip. It's been 8 months still it shows Administrative Process.

Appeared for H1 Visa stamping on 7Jan 2015. Was asked few questions about my Client, salary, location, role etc. but I wasn't asked for any document. The stamping is for my extension of H1 for which I have the approved petition. After these questions, the interviewer talked to one of her colleague for a min & then handed me a white slip. He crossed the checkbox that said, the office will contact you by mail & returned my passport. I wasn't even asked for my I797. I wasn't asked to submit or show any document. When asked, he said, you will be contacted on mail & there we will tell you what to do next. So since then the online status reflects as "under administrative processing" & the status date is 7th Jan only. No change in status date neither I have been contacted via mail yet for any next action. So I don't even know if I have to submit any document or not. What I fear is for denial as my passport has been returned & they haven't taken any document from me. Please help.

Brief Background:- Travelled to US on L1b (Company A). Came back To India and went back to states on L2 (Company B). Transferred the status from L2 EAD to H1B(Company C).L2 Visa expired and due to a visit to India I had to go for H1B stamping. Perfectly Legal scenario No DUI No illegal stuff. OFC Appointment:- 15th December 2014 Visa Interview:- 16th December 2014 Case status- Administrative processing Location:- New Delhi US embassy. VO Kept my documents (after a long interview) and passport and didn't confirmed I am getting a VISA.I was informed it will take one or 2 weeks max however its almost a month as I speak. No Slip was Issued. Q1.How long I should wait its almost a month now? Q2. I have the option to go back on L2 just in case if denial comes through (I sincerely hope not ) However , I am afraid if denial comes through after Admin processing I am not sure what effect the denial of H1B visa will have on L2 visa? Please guide.
