oci miscellaneous service online problem
My OCI card was issued abroad. I also have a foreign passport where my old OCI sticker is there. I now have a new foregin passport with no OCI sticker.
When I am trying to use the OCI miscellaneous services online I cannot use it as the information does not match.
Is it that OCI issued abroad cannot use Miscellaenous services online in India for change of occupation.

Harass to OCI statis by Jetairway at London
On London Heathrow Airport staff of Jetairways Mr.Jayesh Patel illegally with malafied intension denied to issue boarding pass for travelling her from London to Mumbai on the ground that she was not possessing the old passport containing the ‘U’ visa sticker with her while coming to India.
As per Delegated Powers and functions of State Governments / UT Administrations/ FRROs/ FROs in Visa matters under Sr.No. 31 it is clearly mentioned that “In many cases, it has been noticed that the ‘U’ visa sticker is endorsed on the old passport and the OCI card holders do not carry the old passport containing the ‘U’ visa sticker while coming to India. In such cases, the Immigration authorities normally give Temporary Landing Facility for 3 days.”

OCI application for family - family approved but not me
I applied for myself, my wife and 3 kids all in one application toward end of July. On October 15th, I got four emails for my wife and 3 kids saying that the application has been approved. But mine is still pending. It has been 10 days since theirs was approved. We are all going to India in early December. I don't have much time left. Getting worried.

OCI card Processing End to End
Hi,
I had a very good experience with Travia Outsourcing applying for OCI with the NYC office. They were very prompt and their customer service over the phone was excellent. I had applied for my entire family of four and got everything completed end to end in about 5-6 weeks. To me it is a very good choice by the Indian embassy to have Travisa be their service company for all the business needs.(Passports, Visas, OCI, PIO etc). Very impressed.

Processing delay for OCI
Hi,
I have applied for OCI along with my wife and son.
My wife and son granted their OCI and it took only 25 days. But my status showing it is still processing.
We applied together and paid the fees together. But I don't know what happened to my application.
I contacted Travisa and they have no further information. I mailed to Indian consulate in New York and got the reply that my application is processing
Anybody have any such experiece. Anybody know to whom we have to contact to get a real picture of my application.

Wonderful experience
Had read somewhere to ensure getting renunciation done first and then apply for OCI
It worked out wonderfully well. Renunciation got done in 15 days end-to-end.
Applied for OCI and the entire process has almost completed in 5 weeks. In particular - got the OCI from Delhi in 21 days flat. Awesome !!!
Oursourcing to Travisa has made the process pretty efficient. On one occasion i missed sending the copy of my visa. I sent a scanned copy and that worked. Lost just few hours. Pretty fast.
