Recently I visited India for a short period (2 weeks) and returned. Immigration and customs here in SFO asked a barrage of questions and checked every thing (I had no checked in baggage). And in the Valid Until stamp, customs officer wrote ARC. What does this mean?

10 yr visa Re- entry question
Hi,
I have a question regarding 10 years multiple visa re-entry permission. my father and mother have a 10 years visa .they came to u.s.a on 3rd may 2004 and they got visa for six months at air port.They will be return before visa expired. My question is if they want to retun into u.s.a how long they need to stay into india ? or they are able to return into u.s.a within couple weeks.
