Hi guys,
I am writing this thread for everyone who is waiting for EAD card and are frustrated with this lengthy process.
While waiting I found this site very helpful since we all found each other in the same boat and was able to get a timeline amongst us and found that the timeline at the USCIS website was WRONG.
I applied for EAD at Nebraska center and they received it Jan 22. It took them 5 month plus time to approve it.
I wrote to OMbudsman: not helpful
Call/wrote to Senator: very helpful, they were on top of their game. 2 weeks after I contacted them I got it.
But I would recommend every one to raise SR and write to these ppl after 90 plus days.
I had raised 2 SR with zero help.
So everyone who has recently applied please hold tight, look for backup plans because they clearly dont care about if there are any job offers slipping away or if our bills are piling up.
This site has become majorly helpful during my process. I hope my message helps everyone waiting for their EAD.
