I dropped off my passport and relevant documents through DropBox submission at VAC on 27th June 2016. Collected the passport from VAC on 4th July 2016 with a white 221(G) slip requesting me to appear for an interview and submit medical reports from Max Hospital. Got the medical reports on 11th July 2016 and went for the interview on 12th July 2016. At the interview, after review my documents VO asked me to wait while they process my application. After more than 3hrs of wait, the VO said they will be able to issue a visa and I should receive it in 3-4 business days. However as of July 18th, the status of the case is still Administrative Processing. Has anyone encountered this before where VO confirmed Visa will be issues but it still takes more than a week to process the Visa application?
