Interview was ok, just basic questions. I was asked to email CV with research experience, publications and other information. Emailed them my CV the next day and got a confirmation a day after.
I was expecting 221g as my masters major is under TAL and I got 221g before, for F1 visa which got approved after 40 days of processing.
Interview date : 12 July 2016. Status: 'Administrative processing'.
First update : 04 Aug 2016. Status: 'Administrative processing'.
Second update: 05 Aug 2016. Status changed to 'READY'.
Third update : 08 Aug 2016. Status changed again to 'Administrative processing'.
Fourth update : 09 Aug 2016. Status changed to 'Issued'.
Received passport with visa on 10 Aug 2016. Interestingly, my visa is valid only for 2 yrs even though the h1b petition was approved for 3 yrs.
