The Visa Officer not only verbally advised that my visa was approved, but also gave me a "Congratulation" slip. She endorsed all 3 copies of I-129 with "Approved" stamp and told me that the passport will be delivered within a week. No 221-G slip. But, on CEAC website, the status was showing AP since 07/21 and after the usual 3 business days passed, my worst nightmare became true. Country of Birth: Bangladesh Country of Citizenship: Japan Common Muslim Surname Full Time direct employee of a Fortune 200 US Semiconductor company. Worked for the same employer on OPT before.
