Hi, I initially booked the slot for Jan 2017 but on regular check at appointment dates spl after 1330Hrs -1400Hrs and after 1700Hrs - 1800Hrs ( Opening of new slots) could able to get by September 23, 2016. Attended biometrics on Sept 22,2016 and interview on sept 23,2016. Interview was smooth but issued 221(g) white slip and was told it wud take 3-4 weeks of time. on the same day received an email asking Resume, personal details, publications, references,invitation letter etc.., submitted all requested docs on sept28,2016. CEAC update was Administration processing on sept 28, 2016. then i researched what they are doing? I am from science back ground so it alerted as TAL ( technical alert list) all sciences like biomedical engineering, pharmaceuticals, any kind of research shall be under screening. such kind of application goes to Washington post for concerned department. it took exactly 3 weeks to get an update "request for passport" on Oct 20,2016 and got my visa on Oct26,2016.
