221G Pink Slip

Hi , I had my l1b stamped on my old passport back in 2012 - 2016 , during that time I travelled to India once but never travelled after that .I got h1b later and changed 2 employers , I am planning to visit India next year 2024 . I have raised interview schedule , and on my application it says Interview waiver does that mean I only need to do drop box ? and I dont have option to choose consular interview in USTravel website . I wanted to know i am really eligible for drop box or am I missing anything here ? Thanks

I have applied for an H1b Visa from US embassy London, after answering all the questions, the counsellor told me that my application is under administrative Processing and handed me a 221G - White slip, and told me that there is no further documents required at this moment. It’s been 2 months now still there is no response from them.

Interview Scheduled Date: 12/23/2022 Received 221g with Yellow Slip Documents Submitted Date: 13/01/2023 Current Status :Refused Sent Project Description document as request to [email protected] however still the application is in refused status.

Timeline fo H1 stamping. I have been in USA for 8 years and came to India due to family emergency reason and now they need more time to verify my case. 1- Dropoff location VAC center Ahmedabad on Nov 18 2022 2 - Around Nov 24 recieved the passports back with 221G white paper requesting certain documents for interview call on Jan 5 2023 3 - Interview happened on jan 5th with dependent 4 - During our 4 hrs of long stay, I had been called 3 to 4 times to verify all documents. Submitted all relevant and appripriate original as well as copies. 5 - As we where like 10 applicants waiting for their response. 6 - We where given 221G, need additional verification. 7 - I asked how much time it will take, but the answer was dont know. 8 - Today is Jan 23rd and still not response nor any email. Need guidance on how we can handle our case.

I am writing this email with a final hope from US VISA Consulate. My case was refused with yellow slip 221g and no update for almost 11 months. 14-Feb-2022: Attended VISA interview in Mumbai - Barcode no AA00AJE1SV 14-Feb-2022: Received yellow slip - 221G (attached file) 8-May-2022: My Petitioner responded with required documents to Mumbai consulate 18-Apr-2022: Case was Last Updated and no response there after 24-May-2022: The visa application is under processing at the Embassy/Consulate 11-Oct- 2022: Your case is currently under review 13-Dec-2022: The visa application is under processing at the Embassy/Consulate

I have attended H1b VISA Interview on 3rd November 2022 at Chennai, India. VO is given 221g white slip for asking to submit Vendor and Client agreement document and return my passport. on 7th November I have submitted the required documents through mail. still the status is showing Refused and last update is on 3rd November. May I know how long does it take to validate the document for further Administrative Processing from Refused Status.

I had a H1B Dropbox appointment on 6th October 2022 and submitted all my documents for H1 visa stamping on the 6th at Chennai location: Application update: 11th: Application received by the consulate 13th: Approved 17th: Refused with 221g 19th: passport collected with 221g 221g says to appear for in-person consulate appointment and to carry any prior arrest/court record documents with me. Previously**- I got a DUI in May 2019. And after successful completion of fast ARD (Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition) program my record was already Dismissed and Expunged in June 2020. This is my first stamping after DUI. I am really worried with this 221g! Could you please help and what will be the next steps once I appear for an in-person interview? What additional documents should I carry other than the i797, employment and expungement documents? Do I need any letter from attorney? Please help me with whatever you can.

New h1b application. Sent in the dropbox application mid-June (Canadian permanent resident). The Ottawa consulate asked for an in-person interview. 07/18/2022: Interview at the Quebec city consulate. The passport was collected and was told that I should expect it back within 5-10 working days. 07/19/2022: Got a DS-5535 form to fill out. Filled out and sent it the same day. 07/20/2022: Status update on CEAC to refused (admin processing) 07/27/2022: Received an email from the consulate saying that according to section 221g my application is in administrative processing and that it could take up to 60 days. 09/20/2022: Status updated on CEAC to approved

I dropped my passport and documents on May 24, 2022 in Aramex, Singapore Documents reached US embassy Singapore on May 26, 2022 Application refused for additional documents on May 26, 2022 - Received an email from US Embassy requesting additional documents Additional documents sent on June 2, 2022 Last updated date changed on CEAC as of June 10, 2022 - However, the application status hasnt changed Email sent to US embassy requesting timeline for an outcome - June 18, 2022.
