I appeared for L2 dependent visa interview on 10/25. My wife is in L1A, already in US. I answered all the visa interview questions; and when it came to my job role, the VO couldnt understand my roles and responsibilities as I come from pharma field.
She gave me a form and said i will receive an email and I have to follow the instructions on the email. I had received 221g white slip.
Received email by evening asking me to answer a questionnaire, and also submit resume and if there are any publications, research info to be provided. I completed and emailed them all the info on 10/26.
From 10/26, we have been constantly checking for an update until today; we have received early morning an email requesting for my passport to be submitted at the nearest VFS office.

Docs submitted: 10/26
First update received: 11/28
Status not changed in the ceac website yet.
