Notes:
This is Rajasekar Raja from India. I have got an admit from University of Southern California for Spring 2017 EE department in the field of Wireless Networks. When I have attended my F1 Visa interview on November 28th 2016, the Visa Officer asked me no questions. She simply checked my i20 and then gave back my passport and i20 with a 221g Hold. My orientation for USC starts on Jan 3rd and i have like a month from now by which time i have to be there in the college. Otherwise my admission will be deferred. I see that the process might take 3days to 60days with an average of 30-40days for F1 visa candidates. While i see that the 221G process can never be quickened is there a way i can get this quickly done and join my university before the orientation starts? Getting an visa offer after my admission from USC(which itself is a great achievement) is not really worth. Can you please help expedite this ?
