Hello,
I wanted to share my experience regarding 221g. I had my interview on 1st Nov, 2016 when I was handed a yellow slip stating my visa is refused under 221g section. I was scared to hell as I was already working in US for a big company. However, I submitted all the documents on 4th Nov after business hours and immediately got an automated email stating they have received my documents it will take them couple of weeks to process.
1. case creation date: 28th Oct, 2016
2. Status update : 1st Nov (Administrative Processing)
3. Status Update : 1st Dec (Administrative Processing)
4. Status Update: 2nd Dec (Issued)
On CEAC webiste it says ISSUED. However, under it says " Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received in more than 10 days, please see the webpage for contact information of the embassy or consulate where you submitted your application." Does this mean visa has been issued and is under process for stamping or does it mean some more processing is being done?
