Interviewer collected the DS160 confirmation page, Resume, Noted down the name of my PhD advisor on a sticky note ( I graduated with my PhD from US, so was a F1 visa holder for ~6 years. Currently residing in Canada) They returned my passport and said I did not need to submit any more documents unless contacted. No case number given.
