I have been living in the US since 2011. I came in on an F1 visa and later went through OPT -> H1-b
I've been under H1-b status since 2013.
Visa interview questions were normal. She asked about my salary, when I started working, when I first entered US on F1, if I had any CPTs/OPTs etc
Then gave me a 221g blue slip with no documents marked.
12/5/16 - Status created (My original visa appointment was 12/6/16, but was cancelled by the consulate cos CM Jayalalitha died)
1/3/17 - Status updated (The day I finally had my visa appointment)
2/1/17 - Received email at 11:30AM. Email had 221(g) (White color) attached to it, requesting for passport to be dropped off
2/3/17 - Dropped off passport at Bangalore visa center
2/14/17 - Status date updated to 2/14/17. Still in Administrative Processing.
2/15/17 - Issued. Waiting to pick up passport now.
2/16/17 - Collected passport from Bangalore VFS office.
2/18/17 - Crossed port of entry without any trouble, returned to the US.
