Notes:
I submitted my application on Nov 25, 2016 with an Interview appointment at US Consulate at Montreal, Canada. The Office asked me below questions 1. Current Approved I797 2. Offer Letter of Current Employer 3. Previous Approved H1 4. Previous Tax Documents 5. Resume After looking in the previous H1 documents; the officer informed me that further investigation would be needed on my H1 that was previously denied. And this process would take 90 days or several weeks and I would be informed by email for further updates on my Visa. I was handed a white paper document that showed my Visa is currently under Section 221(g) Administrative Processing. Meanwhile status on the Consulate website said "Your visa case is currently undergoing administrative processing" On Dec 28, 2016 I was informed by email that I can submit my passport at the Canadian post. I then submitted my passport and received the Passport w/ Visa within 6 days. The Online Visa application status shows as ISSUED.
