VO - Asked for project description document which didn't had and hence issued 221(g). Asked me to submit project description along with employment contract signed by me and my employer in US.
Sent email to ustraveldocs for status update after 60 days and also after 74 days of waiting but got same standard reply "its under process and they cannot provide any timeline for the completion of processing"
Finally on 5/22 got email saying your case is ready for final processing and was asked to submit passport, copy of I797 and email that i received from US consulate. Submitted documents today. hoping that now my case gets approved, fingers crossed.
After submitting passport, copy of I797 and email confirmation to VFS on 5/30/2017 my cases was first showed last updated date change from 16th Feb to 5/31/2017, then it was again changes on 31st and 1st June. Finally today i.e. 2 June it shows "ISSUED".
This all shows me that no matter what you got believe and have faith. all the best!
